Role Description
We are seeking a Senior Manager to oversee and grow our Motor Business operations. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. The Senior Manager will lead a skilled team in managing motor insurance portfolios, cultivating relationships with clients and insurance providers, developing strategic growth initiatives, and analyzing market trends. Other responsibilities include overseeing policy underwriting, ensuring adherence to compliance standards, generating reports, and driving profitability strategies for the motor insurance segment. A focus on customer satisfaction and operational excellence is crucial in this role.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in motor insurance operations, underwriting, and claims management
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in mentoring and motivating teams
- Excellent analytical skills for market research, policy development, and performance evaluation
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management abilities
- Sound understanding of motor insurance products, compliance regulations, and industry trends
- Proficiency in organizational and strategic planning to drive revenue growth and operational efficiency
- Strong ability to balance customer-centric approaches with business profitability goals
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in the motor insurance or insurance broking industry
