About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and business-oriented HR professional to manage the end-to-end HR function for the Retail, Supply Chain, and Quick Commerce businesses at FNP. The role requires a strong understanding of frontline workforce management, retail operations, warehouse/manpower planning, and high-volume hiring environments.
The incumbent will work closely with business leaders to drive talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, compliance, and HR operations across multiple locations and formats.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Manage end-to-end hiring for Retail Stores, Supply Chain/Warehouses, and Quick Commerce operations.
- Handle volume hiring for store staff, warehouse teams, delivery operations, and support functions.
- Partner with business stakeholders for manpower planning and budgeting.
- Ensure timely closures while maintaining quality of hires and optimal hiring costs.
- Build strong sourcing channels including consultancies, job portals, campus hiring, and employee referrals.
HR Business Partnering
- Act as an HRBP for Retail, Supply Chain, and Quick Commerce teams.
- Work closely with business heads to address people challenges and drive organizational effectiveness.
- Support managers in employee performance management and development discussions.
- Drive employee retention and engagement initiatives across frontline workforce.
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Plan and execute engagement activities across stores, warehouses, and operational hubs.
- Address employee grievances and ensure positive employee relations.
- Drive HR communication and policy awareness across teams.
- Foster a high-performance and customer-centric culture.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure smooth onboarding and induction processes for new hires.
- Maintain HR records, attendance, leave management, and employee lifecycle processes.
- Ensure adherence to labor laws, statutory compliance, and company HR policies.
- Coordinate with payroll and operations teams for accurate employee data management.
Performance & Productivity
- Track attrition, productivity, and hiring metrics for business functions.
- Analyze manpower trends and provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Support implementation of KRAs/KPIs and performance review processes.
- Drive process improvements for HR efficiency and employee experience.
Desired Candidate Profile
- MBA/PGDM in HR or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in Retail HR, Supply Chain HR, or Operations HR.
- Experience in handling frontline and high-volume hiring environments is preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Good understanding of labor laws and HR operations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.
- Hands-on approach with strong problem-solving capabilities.
