About the Role
We’re looking for a Business Development and Growth expert who knows how to build and grow advertising agency businesses.
Someone who comes with a strong background in sales, new business, brand solutions, business development or agency growth, and is comfortable working with ambitious revenue targets.
This person will play a key role in taking the business forward, identifying new opportunities, building senior client relationships and turning conversations into meaningful mandates. This role requires strong communication skills, commercial awareness, strategic thinking, and a proactive approach to building long-term client partnerships.
Key Responsibilities Business Development & Prospecting
- Research, identify and qualify potential clients aligned with Commix services across Brand Development, Design, Social and Content, Performance marketing, Customer Lifecycle Management and Commerce Growth Planning
- Auditing accounts across Meta, Google, SEO, Linkedin, Amazon, Flipkart, etc to identify gaps and opportunities for brands to be pitched
- Build a strong pipeline through new client acquisition, referrals, LinkedIn, Apollo.io, referrals, networking, email outreach, and cold calling.
- Lead pitches and business conversations from the first conversation to closure.
- Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships and build larger, integrated mandates.
- Work closely with strategy, creative, media, influencer and other teams to develop compelling brand solutions.
- Build and maintain relationships with senior marketing and business leaders.
- Own monthly and quarterly business targets and be accountable for delivering against them.
- Bring a strong understanding of the agency ecosystem, brands and what makes a proposition commercially relevant.
- Maintain and track pipeline with accurate records of leads, meetings, and opportunities
- Drive Global Expansion strategies for business growth out of India
What We’re Looking For
- 7–9 years of experience in Business Development, Client Acquisition, Partnerships, or a similar role, within an advertising, digital marketing, or creative agency is a must.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and creative services.
- Proven ability to generate, qualify, and convert new business opportunities.
- Excellent communication, pitching, presentation, networking, and negotiation skills.
- Strong commercial mindset and understanding of the sales function.
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities with strong ownership and accountability.
- Proactive, persistent, and comfortable with outbound sales and new business development.
- Ability to translate client business challenges into relevant agency solutions.
- A proven track record of winning clients and meeting revenue targets.
- Ability to manage opportunities independently with consistent follow-through.
- A strong industry network or established relationships with brands and potential clients is a must.

This is a Full-time, work from office role, based out of Marol, Andheri East, Mumbai, and is applicable for only the residents of Mumbai willing to travel to the office location on a daily basis.
