Job Title: Senior Manager / Manager – Plasticware Sales (Commercial sales)
Department: Sales & Business Development
Location: PAN India (Region Based: Delhi)
Sales areas: Life Science Consumables, Instruments & Bioprocess solutions (various) with the sales personnels
Product segments: Reagents & consumables, Plasticwares, General & Application-based instrumentation, Filtration, Chromatography products, Disinfectants, Mol. Diagnostic tools etc.
Experience Required: 7+ Years experience in plasticware / B2C commercial sales
Role Overview
Sales Manager will lead sales operations across PAN India, managing business growth in research, diagnostics, pharma, biopharma manufacturing, and process industries. The role includes managing a team of Sales personnels and Application Executives selling plasticware.
The SM will drive PAN-India commercial plasticware sales, expand institutional and channel presence, and achieve sustainable revenue growth. The SM is expected to build relationships with key clients (Potential Research Institutions, Hospitals, clinics, Biopharma clients) and identify new opportunities to grow the business revenue for Genetix.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute PAN-India sales strategy for commercial plasticware
• Drive revenue growth across B2C and institutional segments
• Build relationships with corporates, facility management companies, and government bodies
• Manage distributors and channel partners nationwide
• Lead and mentor sales teams
• Track competitor activity, pricing, and market trends
• Coordinate with marketing, supply chain, regulatory, and finance teams
• Prepare sales MIS, forecasts, and business reviews
Qualifications & Experience
• B.Sc./M.Sc./B.Tech/M.Tech in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences.
• MBA (Marketing/Business) preferred.
• 7+ years of sales experience in Life Science/Industrial Bioprocess, with minimum 2 years leading a sales team.
• Exposure to globally known product lines from renowned companies working in different sectors of products ranging from Consumables & Instrumentation
