Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Manager - Leisure Sales, primarily focused on educational trips, based in Guwahati. The Senior Manager will drive business growth by identifying leads, managing sales accounts, designing customized leisure travel packages, and cultivating client relationships. The role involves attending trade shows, participating in industry events, and collaborating with the marketing team to promote educational travel offerings. The Senior Manager will also oversee a sales team, setting objectives, monitoring performance, and implementing effective sales strategies for the leisure segment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Sales, Sales Management, and Account Management
- Strong knowledge of the Leisure Industry with a focus on group and educational travel
- Experience in Trade Shows and industry events for business development
- Ability to build and maintain strong client and vendor relationships
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong organizational and leadership ability to manage a team effectively
- Familiarity with the target regions of West Bengal, Sikkim, Bhutan, Andaman, and the Northeast is advantageous
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Tourism, or a related field is preferred
