Role Overview
Lead the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (D365 BC) across AGIPL and group companies (ONYX, ASSPL). Manage the full project lifecycle from planning to deployment, working closely with business teams, vendors, and implementation partners. Ensure timely delivery of ERP modules including Finance, Inventory, Manufacturing, and Sales.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage the D365 Business Central implementation for AGIPL, ONYX, and ASSPL
· Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables with clear milestones
· Coordinate with internal teams (Finance, Sales, Manufacturing, HR) and external vendors
· Gather business requirements and convert them into clear functional specifications
· Oversee system setup: chart of accounts, dimensions, workflows, user roles, and permissions
· Manage data migration from legacy systems (customers, vendors, inventory, GL balances)
· Plan and execute integration with existing tools (Sales Tool, HRMS, CRM, Spine, Bank systems)
· Conduct testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensure quality before go-live
· Organize user training sessions and prepare clear documentation and SOPs
· Track project progress through regular status meetings and reports to management
· Identify and resolve project risks, issues, and dependencies quickly
· Ensure smooth go-live and provide post-implementation support
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
· 5-10 years of experience managing ERP implementation projects
· Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
· Experience with ERP implementations in manufacturing companies (preferred)
· Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) is a plus
Required Skills
Technical Skills:
· Strong understanding of Finance, Inventory, Purchase, Sales, and Manufacturing processes
· Knowledge of GST, TDS, TCS taxation modules
· Experience with system integration (APIs, data connectors)
· Familiarity with data migration strategies and tools

· Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
· Leadership skills to coordinate cross-functional teams
Interface Responsibilities
The IT Project Manager will coordinate with the following departments during the D365 Business Central implementation:
Finance Department: Define chart of accounts, GST/TDS/TCS configurations, financial dimensions, GL setup, and financial reporting requirements
Sales Department: Configure sales order processing, customer master data, pricing, discounts, quotations, and sales analytics
Purchase Department: Set up vendor management, purchase workflows, approval processes, requisitions, and procurement automation
Manufacturing/Production Department: Implement production planning, BOM configuration, routing, shop floor execution, and capacity planning modules
Inventory/Stores Department: Configure warehouse management, stock locations, item master data, inventory valuation, and stock transfers
HR Department: Plan integration with HRMS for employee master data, payroll integration, and organizational structure alignment
Service Department: Set up service management module, service orders, maintenance contracts, and service item tracking
Quality Department: Configure quality management processes, inspection plans, quality checks, and non-conformance reporting
Reporting Structure
Reports to: Chief Information Officer (CIO) / IT Head
Works with: Finance, Sales, Manufacturing, HR, Operations teams, and external implementation partners
Location: Hadapsar Industrial Estate ,Hadapsar, Pune, Maharashtra
