Job Title
Senior Manager - Implementation Engineering
Common Accountabilities
- Accountable for the budget, performance and results of a medium-sized team or multiple teams of employees. Influences the resource, budget and policy planning and sets concrete development plans for the team members. - Has a mid/long-term vision of the activity and the business, influences the department's strategy based on a broad understanding of the environment. Exposed to complex decision making. - Works with a high level of autonomy, based on management directions, escalating issues only when necessary.
Specific Accountabilities
- Analyse customer systems and service requirements. * Identify specific actions necessary to integrate Amadeus products/services. * Establish and manage the product/solution integration schedule. * Determine and document adaptations to Amadeus products and services. * Write functional specifications used for customisation and/or verify that * specifications reflect customer requirements. * Guarantee that customised products/solutions meet specified requirements. * Provide functional support and problem resolution to sales and/or customer functional staff. * Support sales activities through the presentation and documentation concerning product/solution integration.
Overall Profile
As successful candidate you will be owner for one or more projects for multiple airline customers simultaneously. Some of the regular activities of candidate are :
Regular Activities Are Varied
- Facilitate customer requirements sessions and gap analysis, ensure implementation deliveries on test and production environment.
- Project management: Projects planning, follow up and support activities during the implementation. Coordinate the project with the customer, organize regular status meetings, maintain project dashboard, follow actions and risks, bugs tracking to closure.
- Solution support: Based on airline requirements provide first level of guidance or support on products.
- Establish joint baseline plan with the airline and follow tracking of activities
- Coordinate internally with R&D development teams for the activities and features to deliver.
- Manage stakeholders expectations , drive management presentations, steering committee meetings.
- MAnage Employees in his/her span of work,
- Provide escalation support for Implementation team to facilitate any roadblocks,
- Act as the first point of escalation from internal and external project stakeholders
- Inform project status, schedule and key issues to customers and management on a regular basis
- Build and maintain a strong governance w.r.t RAID and Action management
Functional Skills
- Implementation/Professional Services Project Management: Expert
- Airline Domain – Reservations/Inventory/Ticketing/Fares: Intermediate (Must have)
- Amadeus Business/Product Portfolio Exposure: Desired
