Job details:
We are looking for a Senior Manager, Growth to lead and scale our retention, engagement, and revenue functions. This is a high-ownership role where you will define strategy, build and manage a team of growth professionals, and directly influence the core business metrics that matter most beyond new user acquisition.
You will own the full post-acquisition lifecycle: activating users, keeping them engaged, reducing churn, and driving subscription revenue. You will work closely with Product, Data, and Marketing to build growth loops that compound over time.
What You'll Own -
• Define and execute the retention, engagement, and revenue growth strategy for the app
• Own key metrics: DAU/MAU, D7/D30 retention, subscription conversion, revenue per user, and churn
• Build, manage, and mentor a team of growth, CRM, and lifecycle functions
• Design and run experimentation programs - A/B tests, multivariate tests, lifecycle experiments
• Own all CRM and lifecycle channels: push notifications, in-app messaging, email, WhatsApp/SMS
• Partner with Product to influence the roadmap based on retention and engagement insights
• Collaborate with Data/Analytics to build dashboards, define growth models, and identify opportunities
• Develop segmentation strategies to personalize user journeys across different cohorts
• Drive subscription monetization - optimize conversion funnels, trial-to-paid flows, and upsell paths
• Report growth performance to leadership with clear insights and recommendations
What We're Looking For
• 5–8 years of experience in growth, product growth, or lifecycle marketing - preferably in a fintech or consumer app
• 2+ years of people management experience - you know how to build, motivate, and grow a team
• Strong analytical mindset - comfortable with SQL,Metabse, cohort analysis, funnel analysis, and retention modeling
• Hands-on experience with CRM/lifecycle tools (CleverTap, MoEngage, or similar)
• Experience running structured experimentation programs with statistical rigor
• Deep understanding of subscription business models and revenue optimization
• Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority
• Bias for action - you move fast, iterate, and are comfortable with ambiguity
