About EBP India (formerly STEP Private Limited)
We are team of 15 professionals based in Mumbai. Our focus areas are water and wastewater,
Corporate sustainability, Contaminated site management and Circular economy. We are sector
agnostic and serve private sector clients pan India. We also collaborate with our other offices
on transnational projects.
We are looking for a team leader, Environmental/Chemical Engineer with 12-15 years of global
experience in environment and ESG, demonstrates strong leadership in business development,
leading multi-disciplinary teams in water/ wastewater management, sustainability ESG, circular
economy, stakeholder engagement, vendor management, and business case development
Position: Senior Manager/ General Manager/ Associate Director (Technical)
You will take the initiative to drive business development, shape our strategy and bring EBP
forward in consulting business in identified service areas. You will collaborate with our
interdisciplinary Indian and international team to provide innovative and practical consulting &
engineering solutions to clients belonging to several industry sectors. Effective stakeholder
engagement is an important part of our operations and You will be partly responsible for
expanding our team and lead talents.
The position is based in Mumbai. Our main place of work is in the office, where we strengthen
the collaboration of our colleagues. In addition, we support remote work and run a hybrid
working model. Salary to commensurate with experience and consulting market standards.
Requirements
• Post graduate engineering degree in Environmental Engineering/ Chemical engineering
• 12-15 years of professional experience in consulting, including business development in
Environment/ sustainability.
• Mission-driven with a passion for integrating sustainability into business practices.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly
and effectively to both internal and external stakeholders. Team-oriented with a strong
commitment to collaboration and team support.
• Experience in applying the latest methodologies and frameworks (e.g. SBTN) is a plus.
• Experience with large consulting firm is preferred.
