Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and strategic Senior Manager – Finance & Accounts to lead and oversee the organization’s financial operations, accounting functions, compliance, and financial planning activities.
The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in financial management, budgeting, taxation, audit handling, MIS reporting, and process optimization, along with the ability to lead finance teams and support business growth through effective financial strategies and operational excellence.
The candidate must have strong leadership capabilities, analytical thinking, and hands-on experience in managing end-to-end finance and accounts operations in a fast-paced business environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinance & Accounts Management
- Lead and manage end-to-end Finance & Accounts operations across the organization.
- Oversee general accounting, ledger scrutiny, reconciliations, and financial reporting activities.
- Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and fund management activities.
- Manage accounts payable, receivable, and banking operations efficiently.
Financial Planning & Reporting
- Prepare and review MIS reports, financial analysis, and management reports.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Analyze financial performance and provide strategic recommendations to management.
- Track financial KPIs and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Taxation & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, accounting standards, and company policies.
- Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, and other statutory compliances.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities.
- Manage internal and external audit processes and ensure audit readiness.
Process Improvement & Controls
- Develop and implement financial controls, SOPs, and process improvement initiatives.
- Drive automation and optimization of finance and accounting processes.
- Ensure accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of financial data and records.
- Support ERP implementation and financial system enhancements.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage finance and accounts teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments for operational and financial alignment.
- Support senior leadership with strategic financial insights and business recommendations.
- Ensure timely resolution of financial and operational issues.
Required Skills & Expertise
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance management.
- Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, taxation, and audit handling.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems, Tally, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced MS Excel and financial reporting skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong communication and team management capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- CA / CMA / MBA Finance / M.Com or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts.
- Experience in managing large finance teams and multi-functional finance operations preferred.
