Senior Engineering Manager – C#/.NET & SAP ABAP

EXP :15-18 Yrs

Location : Hyderabad

Work Mode : Hybrid

Job Description

Within the role, you will be responsible for:

• Leading and developing a team of engineers responsible for SAP, .NET services, and Windows desktop applications.
• Defining architecture and engineering standards across SAP, .NET services, and Windows desktop applications.
• Designing and delivering complex enterprise solutions using C#, ASP.NET Core, and SAP ABAP.
• Leading integration strategy between SAP (ECC and/or S/4HANA) and external systems via APIs, RFC/BAPI, OData, SOAP, OAuth2, and related technologies.
• Architecting and modernizing Windows desktop applications using WPF, WinForms, and/or WinUI.
• Driving SAP enhancements, performance optimization, and transport governance.
• Establishing secure, scalable integration patterns across ERP and custom platforms.
• Partnering with product, architecture, and business leadership to translate strategic objectives into technical roadmaps and delivery plans.
• Mentoring senior engineers and engineering managers while raising the technical bar across teams.
  
  

Qualifications:

• You have 15+ years of enterprise software engineering experience.
• You have 5+ years of people management experience leading software engineering teams.
• You have significant hands-on experience in both SAP ABAP and C#/.NET development.
• You have experience managing teams responsible for complex, integrated enterprise systems.
• You have led architectural initiatives spanning ERP systems and custom-built applications.
• You have experience operating in complex, highly integrated enterprise environments.
• You communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• You have demonstrated ownership of high-impact, cross-functional technical and organizational decisions.
  
  

Technical Skills:

• You have advanced proficiency in C#, .NET, and ASP.NET Core for building scalable services and APIs.
• You have deep expertise in SAP ABAP, including Object-Oriented ABAP, enhancements, BAdIs, and performance tuning.
• You have experience implementing SAP integrations using BAPI, RFC, IDoc, OData, SOAP services, and OAuth2-based authentication flows.
• You have hands-on experience building Windows desktop applications using WPF, WinForms, or WinUI.
• You understand enterprise authentication models and secure system integration patterns.
• You are familiar with CI/CD practices and modern software delivery processes.
