Senior Manager - Domestic Logistics ( Spare Parts & Machines )
Location: Working remotely from Navi Mumbai

Basic Requirements:
- Educational Qualification:
- Educational Qualification: Graduate & PG with specialization in Logistics/ SCM/ Transportation Management
- Age: ~ 40Years
- Experience: ~ 18- 20 years
Purpose of the Job:To lead, Manage & develop efficiently end-to-end transportation and last Mile delivery for spare parts and finished machines, ensuring timely, cost-effective, safe, and customer-focused delivery across PAN India to support overall business objectives.The role is responsible for Spare parts / Machines last mile deliveries from 23 Warehouses to end customers by innovative transportation options and complied vendor management.
Scope of Work & Accountabilities:
- Last Mile delivery improvement strategy- On time, Cost effective, Compliant and Safe delivery
- Domestic transportation and distribution operations across India (Majorly ODA Locations)
- Strategic transportation planning and execution
- All transportation & commercial agreements to finalize for PAN India transportation
- Selection of right service providers/ Transporters for delivery to meet Organization goals
- Time bound delivery planning and solutions to Customers/ Regions
- Customer Centric approach and Parts logistics related complaints to analyze
- Logistics cost optimization in PTL/ FTL modes
- Stakeholder management –Customer Service, Warehouse, Zonal Teams, Accounts, etc
- Develop Cost Effective & Efficient Transportation & Courier Services / Solutions for PAN India
- Effective usage of Transport Management System and analytics
- Route mapping and Cargo allocation automation as per service levels
- Monthly MIS & Reporting on Service levels/ Freight analysis/ Zone / delivery perfo. etc
- Service performance review with internal stakeholders, service providers & meeting with vendors monthly for improvement plans & new initiatives.
- Implement best practices in Domestic Logistics to improve customer satisfaction
- Logistics Dept. Compliance and Update SOPs for logistics management viz Vehicle planning, Con-signment Booking, Tracking & Vehicle loading process
- Define and monitor SLAs, KPIs, TAT and Service levels
- Cross Functional team interaction and expertise
- Domestic Logistics Budget and drive cost optimization initiatives
Skills / Competencies required:
- Strong knowledge of Indian transportation industry/ Logistics updates
- Commercial negotiation and vendor management
- Data driven decision making and analytics
- Very good interpersonal skills
- Networking in logistics industry and explore best practice concepts
- Crisis management & Solution driven approach
- Good team Player, acceptance to new ideas and implementation
- Strong System, MS Office, ERP and process oriented
