Job Responsibilities:
- Identify, secure, and manage relationships with cross-border clients across regions including the USA, UK, Europe, and APAC, effectively communicating the value that Cashfree Payments can add to their international business needs.
- Drive merchant acquisition through building and executing a robust cross-border sales strategy, aligning with regional market needs and regulations.
- Engage with key partners, marketplaces, financial institutions, eCommerce platforms, and other relevant entities to promote Cashfree’s cross-border payments solutions.
- Contribute strategically to new market entry and expansion initiatives across primary geographies, ensuring alignment with Cashfree’s cross-border growth objectives.
- Develop and present compelling value propositions for Cashfree’s cross-border payment solutions, tailored to meet global compliance and regulatory standards.
- Lead negotiations and manage contract development, ensuring favorable terms that support both client needs and Cashfree's objectives.
- Work closely with internal teams (operations, product, legal, compliance, etc.) to ensure smooth execution of cross-border sales activities and seamless client onboarding.
- Achieve targets related to GMV, revenue, and customer flows from international markets, driving profitability and sustainable growth.
- Proactively identify market opportunities and leverage industry connections to generate leads, influence decision-makers, and close deals effectively.
Must Have:
- 8+ years of experience in business development or sales within cross-border payments, fintech, or foreign exchange.
- Expertise in international markets, with a proven track record in cross-border deal-making and managing global client relationships.
- Strong performance history in meeting and exceeding revenue targets, with a results-driven approach.
- A proactive self-starter with the ability to innovate and improve processes independently.
- Ability to manage relationships across multiple stakeholders and align cross-functional teams toward sales objectives.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to stay calm and effectively manage high-pressure situations.
- Demonstrated consultative selling skills and the ability to close high-value, cross-border deals.
