The Role: Senior Manager, Corporate Development
As Senior Manager, Corporate Development, you’ll work directly with the Director & CFO to lead the following mandate: M&A, investments, fundraising, investor relations, capital allocation, IPO planning and business strategy. This is a high-visibility role blending deal making & strategy with execution, ideal for someone with experience across multiple deal lifecycles and / or deep capital markets expertise.
What You’ll Own
As Senior Manager – Corporate Development, you will take full ownership of the following high-impact areas:
- Fundraising (Equity & Debt): Lead end-to-end capital raise efforts, including Series rounds, secondary deals, and strategic investments. Own investor narratives, negotiations, diligence, and documentation.
- M&A & investments: Identify and lead the execution of inorganic growth opportunities. Manage market scans, due diligence, deal structuring, and integration.
- Investor Relations: Manage key investor relationships. Deliver performance updates, board communications, and reporting cadences.
- Capital Allocation & Treasury: Drive frameworks for capital deployment and monitor returns. Manage surplus capital through a clear investment strategy.
- Strategic Finance: Act as a thought partner to the Director & CFO on financial strategy and business decisions. Lead cross-functional financial initiatives.
- IPO Readiness: Lead IPO planning, valuation, modelling, and prep of materials (DRHP, roadshows, etc.). Oversee due diligence, governance, and market positioning.
Who You Are/ What You Have
- 3 to 4 years in front-end investment banking, VC/PE, or corporate development
- Proven track record in deal execution (capital raising, M&A, investments) and investor engagement
- Deep understanding of financial services and the fintech domain
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and narration skills
- Network across IB, VC, and PE ecosystems
- Pedigree from top institutions (IIT/IIM/ISB/Ivy League or equivalent)
