Role Overview:

For a BFSI client of ours, we are seeking a dynamic and data-driven professional to lead the Total Rewards and Compensation & Benefits (C&B) strategy for our organization. The role is pivotal in ensuring alignment of reward systems with business goals, driving employee retention and engagement through effective pay practices, and providing deep analytics to inform decision-making.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement total rewards strategies (compensation, benefits, variable pay, long-term incentives) in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Lead the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process for workforce costs, ensuring cross-functional alignment with Finance and Business Heads.
  • Conduct detailed manpower planning in collaboration with talent acquisition and business partners.
  • Develop and manage compensation structures, pay ranges, and benchmarking exercises using market data and internal equity principles.
  • Drive data-driven insights and design dashboards and analytics around rewards, headcount, productivity, and cost trends.
  • Partner with external consultants to manage compensation benchmarking, surveys, and best practice reviews.
  • Own the annual performance-linked bonus and salary revision cycles, including system readiness, communication frameworks, and payout governance.
  • Support HRBP teams and leaders with C&B advisory, job evaluations, and compensation structuring for offers and promotions.
  • Ensure compliance with internal reward governance policies and applicable statutory requirements.


Key Requirements:

  • 6–8 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits / Rewards / HR Analytics, preferably in the BFSI sector.
  • Postgraduate degree in HR / MBA from a recognized institute.
  • Deep understanding of manpower planning, AOP, total rewards, C&B frameworks, and incentive design.
  • Strong analytical and numerical ability with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, HR dashboards, and compensation tools.
  • Experience in handling large data sets, deriving insights, and presenting to senior leadership.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, manage multiple stakeholders, and maintain high attention to detail.
