About The Team
The
Commerce Platform team at Meesho drives end-to-end growth, strategy, and operational excellence across key verticals:
- User Growth: Scales the full lifecycle funnel—from acquisition and activation to retention—ensuring sustainable user growth and engagement across the platform.
- Marketplace: Focuses on strengthening the seller ecosystem and improving selection quality to create a robust and reliable marketplace experience.
- Category: Identifies high-potential segments, launches and scales new categories, and drives assortment expansion to meet evolving customer demand.
- Mall: Builds a trusted branded destination for quality-conscious users, enhancing the platform’s premium and branded shopping experience.
- Pricing: Ensures competitiveness and affordability, enabling the platform to deliver strong value for customers while maintaining marketplace health.
- Content Commerce: Powers content-led discovery through creator ecosystems and inspiration-driven shopping journeys that drive engagement, trust, and conversion.

About The Role
As a
Senior Manager, you will function as a high-impact leader responsible for driving strategic initiatives that contribute directly to our GMV, NMV, and expansion of our user, seller, and creator base. You will own end-to-end problem-solving for critical workstreams, managing both demand and supply-side challenges while ensuring operational excellence. This role requires high fungibility, as you will navigate various sub-organizations to implement programs that make the platform more lucrative for users, partners, and creators alike.
What You Will Do
- Strategy & Problem Solving: Identify 10x impact opportunities and build conviction through opportunity sizing and early experiments to scale a charter into an impactful one.
- End-to-End Ownership: Own the ideation, implementation, and delivery of key business metrics (P&L, GMV, or KRs) for your workstream.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with and influence cross-functional teams including Product, Tech, Design, Analytics, Marketing, and Finance to deliver on defined business objectives.
- Program Management: Optimize processes, mitigate risks, and align cross-functional pods to drive efficiency in large-scale programs, crafting KPIs to drive operational excellence.
- Data-Driven Execution: Deep dive into complex program details, track business-critical metrics, and present data-based arguments and solutions to senior leadership.
- Leadership & Coaching: Manage and coach a high-performing team of associates and managers, fostering an environment of fast-track growth and excellence.
- Vision & Roadmap: Understand the market landscape and customer behavior to decide the long-term roadmap for relevant business plans.
What You Will Need
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a top-tier institute.
- Experience: At least 6+ years of Growth, Strategy & Ops experience in Management Consulting, or a high-growth startup environment.
- Analytical Aptitude: Strong "problem-first" thinking with the ability to break down complex problem statements into actionable components.
- Executional Experience and P&L/KPI Ownership: Demonstrated executional experience in driving initiatives end-to-end, along with ownership of business KPIs and/or P&L metrics, with accountability for measurable outcomes.
- Communication: Excellent negotiation and communication skills to align multiple stakeholders on a long-term vision and generate buy-in.
- People Leadership: Proven ability to motivate and lead teams while advocating for user-driven decisions.
- Adaptability: Ability to figure out areas of improvement for various business categories and Meesho as a whole.
