Role: Senior Manager – Strategic Initiatives (CBO Office)
Location: Gurgaon
Role Overview
This role will work closely with the Chief Business Officer to drive execution of key commercial priorities across business verticals. The incumbent will act as a strategic execution partner — ensuring decisions taken in leadership forums translate into timely, structured follow-through.
The role will also support new services growth through commercial analysis, sales intelligence, and cross-functional coordination.
This is a high-visibility, cross-functional role requiring strong business acumen, structured thinking, and execution discipline.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Meeting Follow-through & Governance
- Accompany CBO in select internal and external meetings
- Convert discussions into clear action trackers with owners and timelines
- Drive cross-functional follow-ups across Sales, Finance, Ops, Product, and Tech
- Maintain visibility on execution status and escalate risks proactively
- Ensure no key commercial initiative loses momentum
Strategic Program Management
- Lead high-priority commercial initiatives (e.g., new service launches, pricing pilots, cross-sell programs)
- Build structured project plans with milestones and dependencies
- Track KPIs and measure impact of initiatives
- Coordinate across BU heads to ensure alignment and delivery
Commercial & Sales Intelligence (New Services Focus)
- Support market assessment for new service offerings
- Analyze funnel trends, win/loss patterns, and competitive movements
- Build business cases for pilots and expansion initiatives
- Partner with Enterprise & SME growth teams to enable go-to-market clarity
Cross-BU Alignment & Performance Visibility
- Create structured dashboards for leadership visibility on key commercial programs
- Identify bottlenecks in cross-vertical collaboration
- Ensure consistent communication of priorities across stakeholders

- Reduced lag between commercial decision and field implementation

Candidate Profile
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in strategy, consulting, commercial operations, or high-growth business roles
- Experience working with senior leadership preferred
- Exposure to revenue, sales, or commercial strategy environments
Skills:
- Strong structured thinking and problem-solving ability
- Excellent follow-through and stakeholder management
- Ability to operate in ambiguity
- Strong communication and executive presentation skills
- Comfort with data analysis and business metrics
