We are seeking a seasoned international business development leader to spearhead AD Ports Group’s global expansion by shaping market‑entry strategies, identifying high‑value opportunities, and cultivating strategic partnerships across the ports, maritime, and logistics sectors. The ideal candidate brings strong commercial acumen, strategic foresight, and exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, enabling them to navigate complex markets and drive initiatives that strengthen and expand our international footprint.
JOB PURPOSE:
Build and oversee international growth strategies, business development initiatives, and client partnerships to expand the organization's presence in the global port, logistics, and maritime industries.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core Responsibilities:
- Build and oversee international business strategies to identify new business opportunities and expand the company's presence within the assigned region.
- Provide guidance to manage the international business development pipeline, ensuring timely progress and alignment with the organization's strategic objectives.
- Lead the benchmark of new business opportunities, emerging trends, competitive landscapes and potential risks.
- Oversee the performance of international projects, delivering financial and commercials updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive business growth and ensure client satisfaction.
- Identify potential risks and implement risk mitigation strategies to safeguard business interests within the region.
- Lead contract negotiations and deal closure with clients, partners, and suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company.
- Participate in international industry conferences, trade shows, and other networking events and effectively represent AD Ports Group and its services.
- Manage the end-to-end RFQ/RFP lifecycle, ensuring rigorous documentation control and seamless liaison with internal stakeholders to satisfy all bid requirements.
People Management Responsibilities:
- Address conflicts and challenges within the team promptly and effectively, promoting a harmonious and collaborative work environment.
- Lead the sales team in achieving revenue targets, overseeing sales pipelines, and negotiating contracts with clients.
Strategic Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategic planning, development, execution, and evaluation of all programs and initiatives.
- Stay abreast of technological advancements and industry trends, integrating innovative solutions into the business strategy.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Educational and Technical Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Business, Economics or a related field.
- Strategic management, Finance, Operations, or International Trade courses are plus.
- Professional certifications or diplomas in project management, supply chain management, or logistics are considered an asset.
Language Skills:
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Knowledge of additional languages relevant to the region is highly advantageous.
Years of Experience:
- A minimum of 12-15 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong expertise across the port, maritime, and logistics sectors.
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder‑management
- Analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
- Experienced in project management, strategic planning, and change management.
- Demonstrates solid financial acumen in budgeting, financial modeling, and commercial analysis, and is adept in data‑driven decision‑making using platforms like Excel, Tableau, and Power BI.
