Why this role is important
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager / Associate Director, HEOR to join our growing consultancy team in India.
This is a senior role for someone who can lead complex evidence synthesis and indirect treatment comparison projects, provide methodological and strategic guidance, and oversee the development of high-quality deliverables for HTA, payer, and scientific audiences.
The successful candidate will work closely with company Directors, statisticians, health economists, analysts, and clients to generate evidence packages aligned with payer and HTA expectations, with a focus on Canada, the UK, and Europe / EU Joint Clinical Assessment.
What success looks like
In 3 months
Build a strong understanding of our project workflows, quality standards, templates, and client expectations.
Take ownership of selected SLR, ITC, and HTA-focused workstreams.
Provide senior review and guidance on protocols, data extraction plans, technical reports, and client deliverables.
Support project teams in managing timelines, risks, and client communication.
In 6 months
Independently lead complex SLR and ITC-focused projects with limited oversight.
Provide methodological input into ITC feasibility assessments, SAPs, NMAs, MAICs, STCs, and population-adjusted analyses.
Lead client discussions on methods, assumptions, deliverables, and project progress.
Review and mentor junior and mid-level team members across multiple concurrent projects.
In 12 months
Serve as a trusted senior project lead across key client accounts.
Contribute to methodological strategy, proposal development, and project scoping.
Help strengthen internal processes, templates, and quality-control approaches.
Support the growth and development of the India-based HEOR team.
What you’ll be doing
Lead systematic literature reviews across clinical, economic, humanistic, epidemiologic, and HTA evidence areas.
Lead indirect treatment comparisons, including feasibility assessments and statistical analysis plans, in collaboration with statisticians, for NMAs, MAICs, STCs, other population-adjusted analyses, and other advanced ITC methods.
Oversee the development of high-quality deliverables, including SLR protocols and reports, ITC feasibility reports, SAPs, technical reports, HTA evidence summaries, manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and payer-facing materials.
Provide methodological and strategic guidance to ensure approaches are rigorous, fit for purpose, and aligned with HTA and payer expectations.
Review and quality-check deliverables prepared by junior and mid-level team members.
Manage project timelines, resourcing, budgets, and client communication across multiple concurrent projects.
Contribute to proposals, project scoping, and methodological planning.
Mentor and support junior team members.
What you’ll bring
Master’s degree or PhD in health economics, epidemiology, public health, pharmacy, medicine, biostatistics, outcomes research, or a closely related discipline.
5–7+ years of relevant experience for the Senior Manager level, or 8–10+ years for the Associate Director level.
Strong experience leading SLRs across clinical, economic, humanistic, epidemiologic, and HTA evidence areas.
Demonstrated experience with ITCs, including NMAs and MAICs; experience with advanced ITC methods.
Strong understanding of HTA requirements and evidence expectations, particularly in Canada, the UK, and Europe.
Experience developing client-ready technical reports, protocols, SAPs, manuscripts, conference materials, and HTA-supporting deliverables.
Excellent scientific writing, critical appraisal, communication, project management, and client-facing skills.
Experience supervising, reviewing, and mentoring junior team members.
Would love for you to have
Experience preparing or supporting submissions to CDA-AMC, INESSS, NICE, SMC, or EU JCA.
Familiarity with PRISMA, GRADE, NICE methods guidance, CDA-AMC requirements, and EU JCA evidence requirements.
Experience contributing to business development, proposals, client pitches, or methodological strategy discussions.
Hands-on experience with R, WinBUGS, JAGS, Stan, or other relevant software would be an asset.
