About the Team
Placement team serves as the central liaison between clients and insurance partners as well as internal stakeholder i.e. sales & retention team members, ensuring seamless collaboration and optimal financial outcomes. We specialize in managing end‑to‑end insurer relationships, driving effective communication, and fostering long‑term strategic partnerships.
With deep expertise in market dynamics and underwriting practices, we lead premium negotiations for both existing clients and new business prospects—ensuring competitive pricing, enhanced coverage, and customized risk solutions. Our focus is on delivering value through data‑driven insights, strong industry connections, and proactive engagement with insurers.
We work closely with client-facing teams to understand business requirements, align insurer capabilities, and secure the best possible terms. By advocating for our clients and maintaining mutually beneficial insurer partnerships, we enable sustainable growth, improved retention, and differentiated client experience.
Summary
Supporting new business team by procuring quotes for Group Medical Coverage (GMC), Group Personal Accident (GPA), Group Term Life (GTL) and other product related to Health and Benefits mainly in the B2B category. Maintaining Insurer relationship on portfolio level.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Managing team to support New business and retention team in procuring best quotations from the available market
- Develop insurers relationship
- Develop TPA relationship
- Develop relations with headquarter underwriters
- Should know technical details of all the product.
- Should be good at negotiation skills
- Eye to detail on drawing Request for Proposal (RFP)
- End to end coordination on policy placement
Qualifications
- MBA/ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in related field
- 10+ years experience in health and benefits sales
- Demonstrated achievement in B2B sales
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation of group presentations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access and industry-specific analysis software.
- Basic understanding of the insurance industry, with the ability to become a subject matter expert on the job.
- Innovation and problem-solving skills that include the ability to develop and propose equipment-based solutions for clients
