Application Support
Key Responsibilities & Required Skills:
- Monitor and maintain core banking/financial applications.
- Handle incident management, service requests, and problem resolution.
- Ensure SLA adherence and timely communication with stakeholders.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measure
Project Handling
- Manage IT projects related to application upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (business, operations, vendors).
- Ensure projects meet regulatory compliance (RBI, Internal Audit etc. norms).
- Track project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
Process Improvement
- Drive automation and efficiency in support processes.
- Implement monitoring tools and dashboards for proactive issue detection.
- Suggest enhancements to improve application performance and reliability.
Technical Expertise
- Knowledge of banking applications, Lending platforms, payment gateways, CRM, ERP systems.
- Familiarity with databases (Oracle, SQL, NoSql DB), middleware, APIs, cloud platforms.
- Understanding of ITIL processes (incident, problem, change management).
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
- Ability to lead teams and manage vendors.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
