Why This Role Matters
We are looking for a Senior Account Based Marketing (ABM) Specialist to support Hansen's global Energy & Utilities business. This is a data-driven marketing role focused on identifying target accounts, analysing buying signals, uncovering growth opportunities and providing actionable insights to sales and marketing teams.
Working across EMEA, North America and APAC, you will own the day-to-day use of our ABM and data platforms, helping ensure the right accounts are targeted with the right campaigns at the right time. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning data into commercial action rather than creating marketing content.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain target account lists using data, intent signals and market intelligence.
- Partner with the Head of Marketing and Sales to execute and continuously iterate Hansen’s ABM strategy, translating goals into platform configuration, segmentation and campaign targeting.
- Own hands on management, optimisation and automation of DemandBase, including its connectors and integrations with ZoomInfo and Cognism and other systems across the marketing and sales stack.
- Manage and oversee programmatic advertising spend running through DemandBase, ensuring budget, targeting and creative delivery stay aligned to account strategy.
- Identify in-market accounts through intent, engagement and buying signal analysis.
- Monitor account engagement trends and provide recommendations to sales and marketing teams.
- Analyse whitespace opportunities across the existing customer base and identify potential new logo accounts.
- Produce regular reporting on account activity, engagement, pipeline influence and campaign effectiveness.
- Work closely with field marketing, sales, customer success and account management to prioritise focus accounts.
- Support the execution of account-based campaigns by ensuring accurate targeting, segmentation and audience selection.
- Translate account engagement data into clear, commercially-focused recommendations.
- Help improve ABM processes, data quality and platform adoption across the business.
What You'll Bring
- Extensive experience working in an Account-Based Marketing, ABM Operations, Marketing Operations, Demand Generation Analytics role.
- Hands on experience with DemandBase is essential; experience with a comparable ABM platform such as 6sense is a relevant, transferable background, though DemandBase experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience with ZoomInfo and Cognism (or equivalent intent and data enrichment platforms) to identify, analyse and prioritise target accounts.
- Understanding of programmatic or digital advertising, since a portion of ABM spend is managed directly through the DemandBase platform.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret engagement, intent and account-level performance data.
- Experience building target account audiences and segmentation strategies for enterprise B2B marketing programmes.
- Advanced reporting and data analysis skills using marketing and CRM platforms.
- Comfortable presenting findings and recommendations to sales, marketing and business stakeholders.
- Experience working with enterprise sales organisations and complex B2B buying groups.
- Strong attention to detail and an organised, process-driven approach.
Desirable Experience
- Energy, utilities, telecommunications, SaaS or enterprise software experience.
- Experience working alongside account-based marketing programmes.
- Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365, Marketo or similar marketing technology platforms.
Understanding of pipeline reporting, account penetration metrics and revenue attribution.
