Job Title: Senior Manager – Sustainability

About the Role:
Max Estates is seeking a Senior Manager – Sustainability to lead and strengthen our ESG and sustainability agenda across commercial and residential projects. The role will be responsible for driving green building certifications, ESG reporting, energy and resource efficiency initiatives, and ensuring compliance with national and international sustainability standards. This position requires strong technical depth along with the ability to translate sustainability goals into on-ground execution across project lifecycles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end green building certifications (IGBC, LEED, GRIHA, WELL) across projects
- Drive ESG strategy implementation, including BRSR reporting and GRI-aligned disclosures
- Monitor and reduce carbon footprint (Scope 1, 2 & 3 emissions) and support net-zero goals
- Oversee energy efficiency initiatives including audits, simulations, and renewable integration
- Manage water conservation, waste management, and sustainable construction practices
- Ensure regulatory compliance with ECBC, CPCB/SPCB, MoEFCC, and other applicable norms
- Collaborate with architects, consultants, contractors, and internal project teams
- Represent the organization in sustainability forums and industry platforms
Eligibility:
- 7–10 years of experience, with strong exposure to real estate / built environment
- Hands-on experience in IGBC/LEED/GRIHA certifications and ESG reporting frameworks
- Strong understanding of energy, water, and environmental compliance systems
- Educational background in Engineering + Sustainability/Environmental Management
