ROLE OVERVIEW
The Senior Manager – Learning Experience is a senior individual contributor role within the Learning Experience Department. The incumbent will be responsible for end-to-end ownership of complex, global learning projects — from solutioning and design through delivery and client management. This role demands a blend of instructional design expertise, project leadership, client consulting, and pre-sales capability, with a strong orientation toward experiential, instructor-led learning at the leadership level.
Note: This role does not require eLearning development or storyboarding as a primary function. Candidates with such experience may be considered for the added versatility, but core competency in ILT content design is mandatory.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Project Management & Delivery
• Lead and manage large-scale, multi-stakeholder, global learning projects from initiation to closure.
• Develop detailed project plans, track milestones, manage risks, and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.
• Coordinate across internal teams, external facilitators (Indian and global), and client stakeholders.
• Oversee scheduling, logistics, and operational execution for in-person and virtual instructor-led
programmes.
2. Learning Design & Content Development
• Design and develop experiential, instructor-led training content for mid to senior level leaders.
• Create programme architectures, facilitator guides, participant workbooks, case studies, simulations, and learning journeys.
• Apply instructional design principles and frameworks to build engaging, outcome-driven content.
• Adapt content for both in-person and virtual ILT formats; distinguish effectively between ILT and eLearning requirements.
• Ensure learning solutions are aligned to client business objectives and leadership competencies.
3. Client Relationship and Account Management
• Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Build strong, consultative relationships with L&D heads, HR leaders, and business sponsors.
• Conduct needs analysis and diagnostic conversations to identify learning priorities.
• Manage client communications, reviews, feedback loops, and expectations proactively.
• Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and repeat engagement.
• Be open to working on account management and farming of existing clients, especially with a account management revenue target
4. Pre-Sales, Solutioning & Consulting
• Collaborate with the Head – Learning Experience & Head of Sales on business development and proposal creation.
• Contribute to pre-sales conversations, client pitches, and RFP responses. This includes attending inperson and virtual client meetings
• Design learning solutions and customised programme architectures for prospective clients.
• Provide thought leadership inputs on learning strategy, design methodologies, and facilitation approaches.
5. Facilitator & Vendor Management
• Identify, onboard, brief, and manage relationships with internal and external facilitators (Indian and global).
• Ensure facilitator alignment with programme objectives, design intent, and client culture.
• Manage vendor contracts, deliverables, and quality standards.
6. Learning Technology & Platforms
• Oversee and manage Learning Experience Platforms (LXP) and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
relevant to programme delivery.
• Leverage AI-based learning tools and technologies to enhance content quality and learner experience.
• Stay current with trends in learning technology, digital facilitation tools, and AI-assisted learning.
• Support integration of blended learning approaches using appropriate digital tools and platforms.
QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS
Minimum Educational Qualification
• Master's degree / MBA / PG Diploma in HR, OD, Psychology, Education, or related field (preferred).
Certifications (Required / Strongly Preferred)
• Certification in Instructional Design – e.g., ATD Certificate in Instructional Design, CPTD, or equivalent.
(Required)
• Facilitation certification – e.g., IAF Certified Professional Facilitator, DDI Facilitator, or similar. (Preferred)
• Project Management certification – PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent. (Preferred)
• Any other training related certification like Emotional Intelligence, Coaching, OD etc. is an added
advantage
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Core Skills (Mandatory)
• Instructional design for instructor-led training (in-person and virtual ILT).
• Experiential learning design for mid to senior level leaders.
• Global, large-scale project management.
• Client relationship management and stakeholder engagement.
• Pre-sales, solutioning, and proposal development.
• Facilitator management (domestic and international).
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to present to CXO audiences.
• Collaboration across cross-functional and cross-cultural teams.
Technical & Domain Skills
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and collaborative tools (Teams, Zoom, Miro,
etc.).
• Familiarity with Learning Experience Platforms (LXP) and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Working knowledge of AI-based learning tools and technologies (e.g., AI-assisted content design, AI
facilitation aids, adaptive learning platforms).
• Understanding of leadership development frameworks, competency models, and adult learning principles.
• eLearning development / storyboarding experience (added advantage, not a requirement).

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in a leadership development, L&D consulting, corporate training, or
similar industry (mandatory).
• Demonstrated experience managing large-scale, global, multi-stakeholder learning projects.
• Proven track record in designing experiential content for mid to senior level leaders.
• Experience working with both Indian and international facilitators / SMEs.
• Exposure to pre-sales, solution design, and client-facing consulting.
• Prior experience in managing or mentoring junior team members.
• Experience with LXP/LMS administration or management (preferred).
• Exposure to AI-powered learning tools or platforms (preferred).

with no ILT or facilitation experience should not be shortlisted. Priority screening criteria: ILT content design
experience, client-facing exposure, and demonstrated handling of global learning projects. Instructional design
