Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy
- Develop new business channels and expand service offerings in line with industry demands.
- Define and implement strategies for business growth, operational excellence, and client retention.
- Head the insurance survey and inspection business vertical.
Survey, Inspection & Claims Oversight
- Coordinate with insurers, brokers, and third-party administrators (TPAs) for smooth claims processing and dispute resolution.
- Ensure high-quality, timely technical reporting and claims assessments.
- Supervise complex surveys including fire, engineering, property, and risk inspections.
Client Engagement
- Build, manage, and grow long-term relationships with insurance companies, brokers, and corporate clients.
- Act as the key point of contact for high-value clients and strategic partnerships.
- Ensure a client-centric approach across all service deliveries.
Team & Operations Management
- Maintain efficient workflows and implement operational improvements.
- Conduct regular training, skill development, and performance evaluations.
- Lead and mentor a team of surveyors, field executives, and support staff.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure full compliance with IRDAI regulations and industry standards.
- Prepare periodic business reports, forecasts, and performance reviews for leadership.
- Maintain accurate documentation and data security for all client and survey records.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Bachelors in Engineering, Insurance, Risk Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Experience: 10 to 12 years in insurance surveys, inspections, claims management, or risk assessments.
- Strong industry network and prior experience in handling senior-level client relationships.
- Hands-on knowledge of general insurance policies, technical surveys, and loss adjusting processes.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, survey tools, and report writing.
