Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai for a Senior Manager – Business Development & Strategic Partnerships. The role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities in the Fintech and technology services space, managing the end-to-end sales cycle, and building a robust pipeline of qualified prospects. The Senior Manager will establish and grow strategic partnerships with key clients, technology partners, and ecosystem stakeholders, negotiating commercial terms and driving long-term, mutually beneficial relationships. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with prospective clients, understanding their business and IT needs, collaborating with solution and delivery teams to shape proposals, preparing and delivering presentations, and tracking performance against revenue and growth targets. The role also includes market research, competitive analysis, and contributing to go-to-market strategies, while mentoring junior team members and representing Transdigital at industry events and forums.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships within IT services, consulting, or Fintech, with a track record of achieving revenue and growth targets.
- Strong skills in client relationship management, stakeholder engagement, and account management, with the ability to influence decision-makers at senior levels.
- Competence in opportunity qualification, pipeline management, deal structuring, and contract negotiation, including experience with complex or long sales cycles.
- Ability to collaborate with technology and delivery teams to shape solutions, develop proposals, and communicate value propositions in clear business terms.
- Experience in market research, competitive analysis, and go-to-market planning, including identifying new segments, alliances, and partnership models.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the capacity to tailor messages for technical, business, and executive audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with comfort working in an early-stage or high-growth environment that requires adaptability and initiative.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent post-graduate qualification is an advantage.
- Prior exposure to Fintech, financial services, digital transformation, or enterprise technology consulting is highly desirable.
