Role Overview
We are looking for a high-performing Senior Manager – Business Development to drive new client acquisition and account growth across our performance marketing, webinar funnel, and D2C ecommerce verticals. The ideal candidate has strong experience in digital sales, a deep understanding of performance marketing and webinar funnel ecosystems, and a proven ability to close retainer-based mandates with founders, CMOs, and marketing decision-makers across India.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new client acquisition for performance marketing, webinar funnel, and D2C ecommerce services across India.
- Identify, prospect, and close high-value performance marketing and webinar funnel retainer mandates.
- Build and maintain a strong strategic sales pipeline across D2C brands, coaching businesses, edtech companies, and growth-focused SMEs.
- Understand client marketing challenges and propose customised performance-led solutions.
- Manage the entire sales lifecycle, including pitching, proposal creation, negotiation, and deal closure.
- Lead discovery conversations to understand client marketing challenges and translate them into tailored Bloomx proposals.
- Create insight-driven sales presentations, proposals, and growth roadmaps for prospects.
- Collaborate with performance, creative, and strategy teams to build compelling client proposals.
- Build and nurture relationships with founders, CMOs, and marketing decision-makers across India.
- Drive upselling and cross-selling opportunities across Bloomx's service verticals.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Sales or Business Development, preferably at a performance marketing or digital agency.
- Strong understanding of Meta Ads, Google Ads, performance funnels, webinar ecosystems, and D2C growth levers.
- Proven track record of closing retainer-based engagements with founders and marketing leaders.
- Experience working with D2C brands, coaching businesses, or edtech companies is strongly preferred.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Confident, outgoing personality with strong influencing and relationship-building capabilities.
- Comfortable with outbound prospecting via LinkedIn, WhatsApp, communities, and referrals.
- Working knowledge of AI tools for research, outreach, personalisation, and pitch preparation.
