Job Summary

The Logistics Executive is responsible for coordinating and monitoring the movement of goods, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The role involves managing transportation, vendor coordination, inventory movement, and documentation to support smooth supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic and/or international shipments from origin to destination
• Plan and monitor transportation schedules to ensure on-time deliveries
• Liaise with transporters, freight forwarders, and vendors for logistics support
• Prepare and verify logistics documentation including invoices, delivery challans, E‑way bills, and shipping documents
• Track shipments and resolve delivery-related issues or delays
• Monitor logistics costs and work towards cost optimization
• Maintain accurate logistics records and reports
• Coordinate with warehouse, procurement, and sales teams for order fulfillment
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, safety standards, and company policies
• Support inventory movement, stock transfers, and returns management
  
  

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain operations
• Good understanding of transportation management and documentation
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP preferred)
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Problem-solving and decision-making ability
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
  
  

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
  
  

Experience Requirements

• 1–4 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation roles
• Experience in vendor coordination and shipment tracking preferred
