Role Description The Senior Lighting Application Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Faridabad, responsible for supporting the design, application, and performance of advanced LED and outdoor lighting solutions. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing project requirements, preparing lighting designs and layouts, performing photometric calculations, and recommending appropriate luminaires and controls for roadways, industrial sites, campuses, and area lighting projects. The role involves providing technical support to sales teams, partners, and customers, including handling technical queries, contributing to proposals, and participating in project reviews. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams on product application improvements, conduct testing and validation of lighting installations, ensure compliance with relevant standards, and document best practices. The position also requires mentoring junior engineers, assisting in application-related training, and supporting continuous enhancement of Kesslec’s smart lighting solutions.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Technical Support skills and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess relevant Software Development and application tools skills, such as proficiency in lighting design software (e.g., DIALux, Relux) .
- Candidates should possess practical Testing skills, including test planning, performance verification, adherence to national/international standards, and documentation of results.
- Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Beneficial experience includes several years in lighting applications or similar engineering roles, familiarity with smart lighting controls (IoT, automation), and knowledge of environmental and energy-efficiency regulations.
- Additional strengths include strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, project coordination skills, attention to detail, and the capacity to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and customers.
