Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Coimbatore (RS Puram) for a Senior Legal Officer. The Senior Legal Officer will be responsible for managing end-to-end legal operations across projects, including contract drafting and review, land legal due diligence, regulatory compliance, and litigation handling.
The role involves supporting land acquisition processes, ensuring statutory and labour law compliance, handling legal notices, coordinating with external counsel, and advising internal stakeholders on legal risks and documentation related to EPC and renewable energy projects.The position may require travel to project sites and government offices as part of land verification, legal due diligence, and compliance activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law (LLB/LLM or equivalent)
- 4–5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in EPC / infrastructure / renewable energy sector
- Strong expertise in contract drafting, agreement vetting, and legal documentation
- Experience in land legal due diligence (Patta, Chitta, EC verification, title validation)
- Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents in both Tamil & English
- Good knowledge of corporate law, statutory compliance, and labour laws
- Experience in handling legal notices, disputes, and litigation coordination
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
