We are looking for a competent Senior Legal Executive / Advocate to manage legal documentation, property registration, and compliance for real estate operations. The role involves handling land records, executing deeds, coordinating with government authorities, and ensuring smooth property transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and execute legal documents such as sale deeds, agreements, and contracts
- Handle deed execution and registration with relevant authorities
- Manage property registry processes, including coordination for stamp duty calculation and payment
- Verify and process land records such as Khatian, title documents, and ownership details
- Conduct legal due diligence and title verification of properties
- Liaise with sub-registrar offices and government authorities for smooth registration processes
- Ensure compliance with applicable property laws and regulations
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of all legal records
- Assist in resolving land-related issues and discrepancies in records
- Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and external legal consultants
Qualifications
- BBachelor’s degree in Law (LLB)
- Enrolled with the Bar Council of India (mandatory for advocate role)
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of property law, land laws, and registration processes
- Familiarity with stamp duty, registry procedures, and land records (Khatian)
- Excellent drafting and documentation skills
- Good understanding of real estate regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Good communication and coordination skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in real estate or construction industry
- Knowledge of local/state land laws and registration systems
- Exposure to both litigation and non-litigation work
