About the Company
The incumbent will oversee all legal aspects related to land acquisition, project approvals, compliance, and litigation management for real estate projects.
About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end land due diligence (title verification, encumbrance checks, legal scrutiny)
- Draft, review, and vet agreements:
- Sale Agreements
- Joint Development Agreements (JDA)
- Power of Attorney (PoA)
- Lease Deeds
- Liaise with government authorities for approvals (CMDA, DTCP, Registration Dept.)
- Ensure compliance with RERA and other statutory regulations
- Manage litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution
- Provide legal advisory to internal stakeholders (sales, CRM, projects)
- Monitor legal risks and ensure mitigation strategies
- Coordinate with external legal counsel
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of property laws in Tamil Nadu
