Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Lecturer in Periodontology, based in Hazaribag. Responsibilities include teaching and mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students, developing and delivering engaging academic lectures and practical sessions, conducting research activities, and participating in departmental and institutional development initiatives. The Senior Lecturer will also contribute to academic planning and support programs promoting excellence in oral healthcare education.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Periodontology, including clinical acumen and knowledge relevant to teaching and research in this specialty.
- Teaching experience, academic content development, and mentoring students in an educational or professional setting.
- Strong research skills, including designing, executing, and publishing research in peer-reviewed journals.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills to engage and inspire a diverse body of students.
- Dentistry-related qualifications, including a recognized MDS (Masters in Dental Surgery) in Periodontology.
- Commitment to ethical practices, continuous learning, and collaboration in academic and professional settings.
- Prior experience in a teaching or faculty position within a dental institution is an advantage.
- Familiarity with academic administration and willingness to contribute to institutional development initiatives.
- A passion for mentoring and inspiring the next generation of dental professionals to prioritize ethical practice and societal service.
