About This Role
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Technology Business Services Consultant.
In This Role, You Will
- Work as an advisor to more experienced leadership to influence technology matters to develop programs that are effective and efficient for highly complex business and technical needs across one or more lines of business
- Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in depth evaluation across multiple lines of business or the enterprise
- Deliver solutions that are long term, large scale, and which require understanding of organizational goals or priorities and technology to develop executable strategies and plans
- Provide vision, direction, and expertise to more experienced leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions related to technology matters that are large scale, cross functional, or companywide
- Engage with the technology team and more experienced leaders to provide support and drive strategic initiatives for the business and for execution of operational processes
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of Information Technology in support of Business Services experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following work experience, training, military experience, education.
Desired Qualifications
- Proven experience and track record in creating and executing strategic programs and working in strategic consulting teams
- Experience and good understanding of the Banking industry, analytics & reporting and GIC world and its processes
- End-to-end understanding of digital organizations, Agile culture, tools & processes, ways of working
- 7+ years of business management and domain experience in business strategy, transformation & advisory
- Post-graduation in business management
- Efficient project management skills
- Good analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- 3+ years of experience designing and creating dashboards for analytical reporting using BI tools - PowerBI/Tableau
- Strong proficiency with MS Excel and VBA Macros
- Experience with Power point, Visio, and/or other productivity and communications products
Job Expectations
- Lead strategic planning efforts across delivery teams & Enterprise LOBs/Business functions to ensure integrated and holistic long-range solutions for organizational effectiveness and efficiency
- Lead/manage strategic initiatives and develop project plans, frame and conduct insightful analyses, identify solutions, and develop business cases and implementation plans
- Support Technology Business Office (TBO) for the Technology business division of Wells Fargo across India and Philippines
- Track and report key operational metrics for the business unit and support executive reporting for monthly and quarterly business reviews
- Monitoring of Financial management and budgeting, forecasting and tracking for the Line of business
- Tracking and reporting of HCM metrics across business functions
- Interfacing with senior leaders/executive management and partners across groups to influence long-term strategic direction.
- Facilitate decision-making and issue resolution as required with a broad array of leaders from across the organization.
- Obtain buy-in to proposed solutions / plans from stakeholders
- Support implementation of developed solutions / plans, as necessary
- Coordination of business strategy and strategic initiatives including decision rationale around locations, offshore in-house vs. vendor choices and future state operating model for effective and efficient global solutioning.
- Proactively manage day to day business office responsibilities like managing budget, driving adherence to Risk & Compliance mandates, regular cadence on team build out & hiring updates etc.
- Providing an executive view of the KPI’s across Technology business functions along with key callouts to be able to make strategic decisions
- Monitor industry and global trends to assess possible implications and impact on WF global delivery strategy.
- Collaborate and consult with the technology team and more experienced management within Technology Business Services functional area to resolve Information Technology issues and provide customers with best possible solutions
- Develop Automated dashboards using Power BI/Analytics tools, responsible for the quality, governance and oversight of data and metrics required for executive reporting
- Develop specific, customized reports, adhoc analysis and/or data visualizations, formatted with user-friendly techniques to drive adoption, such as Excel macros/pivoting/ filtering.
- Coordinate on platform related activities like BCP planning, seating, compliance reporting etc.
- Socialize best practices, publish templates & guidelines for consistent approach
