Job Title: Senior Lead Java DeveloperLocation: Remote || Contract
Experience: 8–10 Years
🔹 Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Lead Java Developer to lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java backend technologies, modern frameworks, and hands-on experience in leading technical teams in an Agile environment.
🔹 Key Responsibilities- Lead the design and development of web-based and enterprise applications
- Architect and implement scalable microservices and REST APIs
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA teams, and cross-functional stakeholders
- Drive code quality, performance optimization, and best practices
- Lead and mentor a team of Java developers
- Participate in architecture discussions and High-Level Design (HLD) creation
- Ensure seamless CI/CD implementation and deployment pipelines
- Monitor application performance using tools like Glowroot, JProfiler
🔹 Technical Skills (Mandatory)- Core Java (Java 8+), J2EE (JSP, Servlets, JDBC, JSF, JPA)
- Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring MVC
- Microservices Architecture & REST APIs
- CI/CD tools – Jenkins, Maven
- Testing frameworks – JUnit 4 & 5
- Frontend basics – JavaScript, HTML5, DHTML
- Version Control & Tools – Git, GitHub, JIRA
- Build & DevOps Tools – Gradle, GoCD, Ansible, Bundler
- Messaging & Frameworks – JMS, Struts, Hibernate, Tapestry
- Database – Oracle (basic working knowledge)
🔹 Additional / Preferred Skills- Experience with ReactJS, Redux, NodeJS (nice to have)
- Exposure to AWS cloud environment
- Knowledge of FreeMarker templates
- Familiarity with Ruby & Leiningen
🔹 Tools & Technologies- IntelliJ IDEA or similar IDEs
- Performance monitoring tools like Glowroot, JProfiler
- Agile tools and methodologies (Scrum)
🔹 Candidate Requirements- Proven experience in leading Java technical teams
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
- Hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum environments
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership abilities
- Ability to drive end-to-end development lifecycle
