Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior/Lead Engineer – Python, based in our Kochi office with partial work-from-home flexibility. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Python-based applications, optimizing code for performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement effective solutions. As a senior member, you will also mentor junior developers, establish best practices, and actively contribute to project planning, architecture, and troubleshooting. You will ensure high-quality code delivery through code reviews and adherence to coding standards.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Python development, including experience with libraries and frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Solid understanding of relational and non-relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Experience with RESTful API design, integrations, and knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, React, or Angular is a plus.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps principles, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and Git version control.
• Experience with unit testing, debugging, and optimizing applications for performance and scalability.
• Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor team members and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
