Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Senior Lawyer role located in Delhi, India. The Senior Lawyer will be responsible for representing clients in civil court cases, providing legal counsel, drafting legal documents, and developing case strategies. The role also involves managing junior legal staff, conducting legal research, and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations. Regular collaboration with clients, court officials, and staff to ensure seamless case progression is expected.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of civil law, case laws, and legal principles.
- Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, and agreements.
- Proven litigation and courtroom experience, including argument and trial preparation skills.
- Advanced legal research, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication, negotiation, and client management skills.
- Experience mentoring and supervising junior legal staff is an advantage.
- Bar admission in India and a degree in Law (LLB or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in civil litigation or related legal field.
