This is a full-time remote role for a Senior Java Software Engineer. The responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications, with a focus on implementing robust, scalable, and efficient software solutions. Day-to-day tasks include writing clean and efficient code, creating microservices, utilising the Spring Framework, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality deliverables. The role also involves actively participating in code reviews, troubleshooting, and optimising performance.
Requirements
- Strong skills in Java programming and the Spring Framework.
- Experience in Software Development, including design, coding, and testing.
- Proficiency in building and managing microservice architectures.
- Effective problem-solving and analytical skills to ensure high-quality software solutions.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a remote environment.
- Familiarity with modern development processes and CI/CD pipelines.
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with cloud technologies and AI or automation technologies is a plus.
