Role Description The Senior Java Software Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Java applications, with a strong emphasis on scalable microservices and enterprise-grade software solutions. The engineer will work with the Spring Framework, collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications, and participate in code reviews to ensure best practices and high standards. Daily responsibilities include optimizing application performance, troubleshooting complex issues, contributing to architectural decisions, and mentoring less-experienced engineers. The role also includes working closely with product and DevOps teams to support continuous integration and delivery in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Strong programming skills in Java, with the ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Experience in software development and designing scalable solutions, including microservices-based architectures.
- Proficiency with the Spring Framework (e.g., Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data) for building enterprise applications.
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and API development.
- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, and familiarity with ORM tools.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control (e.g., Git), and modern build tools (e.g., Maven or Gradle).
- Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams, mentor peers, and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Experience with cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is an advantage.
- Background in AI-driven or data-intensive applications is a plus, along with an interest in emerging technologies.
