Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer with strong expertise in Java Spring Boot and modern PHP frameworks to join our development team. The ideal candidate will play a key role as a core team member, directly contributing to the technical vision, product development and overall growth of the company. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining scalable web applications, APIs and enterprise solutions, while collaborating closely with leadership and engineering teams. Strong problem-solving abilities, ownership mindset and experience working on complex systems are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain web applications using Java (Spring Boot) and PHP frameworks (like CodeIgniter).
- Develop RESTful APIs and microservices for scalable applications.
- Work on database design, optimization and performance tuning using MySQL or similar databases.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers and other developers to deliver high-quality software.
- Maintain and improve existing applications and implement new features.
- Ensure code quality through code reviews, testing and documentation.
- Troubleshoot and debug production issues.
- Participate in system architecture and technical design discussions.
- Integrate third-party services such as payment gateways, messaging APIs and cloud services.
Required Skills
- 7–8 years of professional software development experience
- Strong expertise in Java Spring Boot
- Strong experience in PHP frameworks (preferably CodeIgniter)
- Experience building REST APIs and backend services
- Good knowledge of MySQL / PostgreSQL database design
- Experience with Git version control
- Knowledge of Linux server environments
- Strong understanding and practical experience with OOP concepts, SOLID principles, and Design patterns.
- Understanding of software architecture and scalable system design
- Experience with API integrations and third-party services
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)- Experience with Microservices Architecture
- Knowledge of Docker / Kubernetes
- Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience with React / Angular / Flutter for frontend or mobile integration
- Experience in ERP or large-scale enterprise systems
- Experience in migration from the PHP CodeIgniter framework to Java Spring Boot is desirable.
Education- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Software Engineering or related field.
