Role Description

Job Title: Senior Software Engineer – Java

Experience: 4–6 Years

Location: Bangalore

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with strong experience in Java (Spring Boot) and Angular to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications. The candidate should be able to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
• Participate in code reviews and ensure coding standards
• Work closely with QA, DevOps, and product teams
• Optimize application performance and scalability

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Java 8+, Spring Boot, and Microservices
• Good understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and HTTP protocols
• Experience with SQL/MySQL or other databases
• Knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of OOP concepts and design patterns
• Experience in debugging and performance tuning

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS / Cloud services
• Knowledge of Docker / Kubernetes
• Familiarity with Kafka / messaging systems
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving ability
• Good communication skills
