🚀 Job Title: Java Microservices Developer
Employment Type: Contract (Remote)
Location: Remote (1-Day Visit Required – Chennai / Pune / Mumbai / Bangalore)

🧾 Job Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Java Microservices Developer with strong expertise in Spring Boot, Kafka, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing scalable, high-performance microservices-based applications.
This is a remote contract role, with a one-time visit to the client location (Chennai / Pune / Mumbai / Bangalore) for laptop collection.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices-based applications using Java and Spring Boot
- Implement event-driven architecture using Apache Kafka
- Develop and optimize RESTful APIs
- Work with both SQL and NoSQL databases for efficient data management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Ensure application performance, scalability, and security
- Deploy and manage applications on AWS/Azure cloud platforms
- Participate in code reviews and follow best coding practices
✅ Required Skills
- Strong experience in Java (8+) and Spring Boot
- Hands-on experience with Microservices Architecture
- Experience with Apache Kafka or similar messaging systems
- Strong knowledge of SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Cassandra)
- Experience with AWS or Azure cloud services
- Familiarity with REST APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (Git)
- Good understanding of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus
⭐ Good to Have
- Experience with DevOps practices
- Knowledge of distributed systems and event-driven design
- Exposure to monitoring tools like Prometheus/Grafana
