Job Title: Java Backend Developer

Location: Chennai / Pune / Bangalore / Mumbai (Currently Remote)

Job Summary:We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer with strong expertise in building scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot. The candidate should have hands-on experience in microservices architecture, REST APIs, and modern backend technologies.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop backend services using Java and Spring Boot
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices
- Work with databases (SQL & NoSQL like MongoDB)
- Implement clean, scalable, and high-quality code
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
- Participate in code reviews and unit testing
Required Skills:- Strong experience in Core Java (Java 8+)
- Good knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Security, Microservices
- Experience with REST APIs, Web Services
- Knowledge of SQL and MongoDB (NoSQL)
- Familiarity with Jenkins, Git, Agile methodologies
- Experience in JUnit and unit testing
- Understanding of design patterns, caching, exception handling
- Basic knowledge of Kafka, Angular/Ajax
Good to Have:- Experience in Insurance domain (policy lifecycle)
- Strong problem-solving and system design skills
