Senior IT Project Manager – Infrastructure (Life Sciences Domain)

About the Role
For our Global Life Sciences client, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Senior IT Project Manager to lead and deliver infrastructure-focused initiatives within their global IT portfolio. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in infrastructure projects, with experience in the Life Sciences industry being a significant advantage. This role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to drive organizational change and progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of IT infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, compliance, and timelines.
- Partner with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria.
- Apply project management best practices (PMI, Agile, PROSCI) to ensure structured and adaptive delivery.
- Manage project risks, issues, budgets, and resources while maintaining clear project governance.
- Drive change management initiatives to ensure successful adoption of new systems and processes.
- Prepare and deliver clear project updates, dashboards, and executive-level reporting.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration across teams.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 7 years’ experience managing IT projects, with a focus on infrastructure initiatives (cloud, networking, data center, security, etc.).
- Prior exposure to the Life Sciences / Pharma / Biotech industry is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (PMI, Agile, PROSCI-certified preferred).
- Proven success in delivering projects in remote, global, and matrixed environments.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to operate independently while driving results.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to anticipate challenges and propose solutions.
