The Role
We are hiring a Senior IT / ERP Technical Recruiter to deliver contract staffing requirements for one of our Big 4 consulting clients in India. This is a full-time role with STEPS Talent, working India day shift hours, focused exclusively on domestic contract placements into the client's delivery projects.
You will:
- Own full-cycle contract recruiting across ERP and enterprise IT roles (SAP, Oracle, Workday, Microsoft, Cloud, Data, Security)
- Work directly with our Big 4 client's delivery and resourcing managers to understand project requirements, role context, and billing expectations
- Conduct structured technical qualification conversations using the STEPS-AI framework
- Align compensation, notice period, work authorization, and client rate cards early
- Deliver high-quality, submission-ready candidates aligned to client delivery timelines
- Drive process momentum from submission to onboarding and first day on project
- Protect credibility, margin, and client alignment across every requirement
This is a performance role, not an activity role.
What We Expect
- Strong domestic India contract staffing experience, ideally supporting Big 4, Tier-1 IT services, or global consulting firms
- Comfort recruiting mid to senior-level technical professionals on contract and contract-to-hire engagements
- Ability to break down ERP modules, integrations, and architecture exposure
- Deep understanding of India contractor dynamics — notice period, dual employment, background checks, PF, rate negotiation
- Precision in qualification — not spray-and-pray
- Strong documentation discipline in the ATS
- Ownership from intake to onboarding
- Consistent weekly submittal and placement contribution
You will operate within:
