Role OverviewWe are seeking a skilled IT Administrator with strong expertise in Atlassian tools, particularly Jira, to support and manage IT systems in a remote environment.
The ideal candidate will:
- Lead Atlassian migrations (Server to Cloud and Cloud to Cloud)
- Configure and maintain Jira projects
- Manage system permissions and security settings
- Support overall IT infrastructure including cloud services and remote systems
Key Responsibilities- Lead and execute Atlassian migrations (Server to Cloud, Cloud to Cloud)
- Configure Jira projects, workflows, permissions, security schemes, and custom fields
- Provide ongoing administration and support for Jira, Confluence, and related tools
- Manage user access, roles, and integrations across systems
- Monitor and maintain both on-premise and cloud-based IT infrastructure
- Provide remote IT helpdesk support and troubleshooting
- Implement and enforce IT security policies and best practices
- Document processes and maintain system configuration records
Required Skills & Qualifications- Proven experience with Atlassian product suite, especially Jira and Confluence administration
- Hands-on experience in Atlassian cloud migrations
- Strong knowledge of Jira configuration, workflows, permissions, and automation
- Solid IT administration experience across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Workspace, Okta/SSO, Zendesk, VPNs, Antivirus tools, etc.)
- Experience supporting remote teams and distributed systems
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
Preferred Qualifications- Atlassian-related certifications
- Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- ITSM certifications (e.g., ITIL Foundation)
- Security certifications (e.g., Security+, CISSP)
- Experience with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001)
