Role: Senior Investment Banking Associate
- We are looking for a Senior Investment Banking Associate who brings strong financial modelling expertise and hands-on transaction experience across both real estate and non-real estate sectors. The role demands independent client handling and end-to-end ownership of fundraising and M&A deals.
- The candidate will be responsible for building detailed financial models from scratch, covering revenue build-ups, cost structures, cash flows, balance sheets, and scenario analyses, along with valuations using DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions, and asset-based approaches. Sector coverage spans real estate (residential, commercial, mixed-use) as well as manufacturing, infrastructure, healthcare, and technology.
- On the transaction side, the role involves leading debt, equity, and structured finance deals — from preparing pitch decks, information memorandums, and financial annexures to managing due diligence, data rooms, investor queries, deal structuring, and closures. The candidate will also engage actively with banks, NBFCs, private credit funds, and institutional investors to support deal execution and origination.
- Client management is a core expectation — the candidate will independently handle client relationships, understand their objectives, and deliver customized financial and strategic solutions. Internally, the role includes mentoring analysts and associates, maintaining quality across all deliverables, and driving process improvements through standardized templates, dashboards, and reporting tools.
Qualifications
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA (Finance) from a reputed institute.
• 3+ years of experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience in building financial models from scratch.
• Proven ability to handle clients independently and manage transactions end-to-end.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, ability to interpret complex financial data.
