Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Interior Designer role based in Delhi, India. The Senior Interior Designer will lead interior design projects from concept to completion, including client briefings, design development, space planning, material selection, and coordination with consultants and vendors. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing design presentations, mood boards, detailed drawings, and FF&E specifications that align with the studio’s luxury design language. The role involves supervising project documentation, coordinating with site teams and contractors, monitoring quality and finishes on-site, and ensuring timelines and budgets are met. The Senior Interior Designer will mentor junior team members, contribute to design reviews, and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Interior Design and Architecture, with experience delivering high-end residential, hospitality, or commercial projects.
- Demonstrated expertise in Space Planning and functional layouts that optimize circulation, usability, and aesthetics.
- Hands-on experience with Construction Drawings, detailing, and coordination with consultants, vendors, and site teams.
- Solid knowledge of FF&E, including selection, sourcing, specification, and coordination of finishes, furniture, lighting, and accessories.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in relevant design and documentation software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit or similar, SketchUp/3D tools, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Strong design portfolio demonstrating luxury, contemporary interiors with a high level of detailing and material clarity.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills, with the ability to lead design discussions and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in a studio environment.
- Experience in site supervision, quality control, and on-site problem-solving for premium interior projects is highly desirable.
