Role Description The Senior Interior Designer role is a full-time, hybrid position based in Bengaluru, with flexibility for some work from home. This role involves leading the design process from concept development through detailed space planning and execution for modular and turnkey interior projects. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing construction drawings, coordinating FF&E selections, and ensuring design intent is maintained throughout the project lifecycle. The Senior Interior Designer will collaborate with clients, vendors, and project teams, oversee design presentations, and support project management activities such as timelines, budgets, and quality checks. The role also includes mentoring junior designers and contributing to design standards and best practices within the studio.
Qualifications
- Strong Interior Design skills, including concept development and design detailing.
- Proficiency in Space Planning and Architecture-related coordination for commercial and residential projects.
- Ability to create and review Construction Drawings and technical documentation.
- Experience with FF&E selection, specification, and vendor coordination.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools).
- Demonstrated experience in modular and turnkey interiors, including on-site coordination.
- Strong communication, client-facing, and presentation skills, with ability to work in a hybrid setup.
- Ability to lead projects, manage multiple deadlines, and mentor junior team members.
