Role Description The Senior Interior Designer will lead interior design projects from concept through execution, including client consultations, design development, and coordination with architectural and construction teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating detailed space plans, selecting finishes and materials, developing FF&E specifications, and preparing design presentations and mood boards. The role involves producing and reviewing construction and interior drawings, ensuring design intent is maintained throughout the project lifecycle, and providing on-site design guidance during execution. The Senior Interior Designer will mentor junior designers, collaborate with cross-functional project stakeholders, and maintain alignment with budget, timeline, and quality standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Interior Design and FF&E selection, including finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
- Proficiency in Space Planning, with the ability to create functional, aesthetically cohesive layouts for residential and commercial projects.
- Solid understanding of Architecture and Construction Drawings, including coordination with structural and MEP teams.
- Advanced skills in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3D visualization tools, and Adobe Creative Suite).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience leading interior design projects end-to-end, ideally 6+ years in a similar role.
- Strong project management, stakeholder communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, conduct site visits, and collaborate closely with contractors and vendors.
- Knowledge of building codes, materials, and sustainable design practices is an advantage.
